Charleston, SC, (Dec. 25th, 2020) - Pop/R&B artist WONDR (Spelled in all caps) announces his last single of 2020, “On Fire”. This announcement comes on the heels of a 26-week run of weekly releases that were solely written, produced, engineered, and performed by WONDR. “On Fire,” with its empowering lyrics about finding a ride-or-die partner while chasing your dreams, has captivated new fans and DJs across the globe. Over the last 30 days, the song has earned over 80,000 organic streams. This year, WONDR and his growing team will be working to break this record with DJs, press, social activations, and licenses for use in video games, advertisements, and fashion collaborations like the one we are doing now with Tango Hotel Collection.
WONDR is a trailblazer for independent music, business, fashion, and culture. While he has only been performing as a solo artist since January 2018, WONDR’s music has already been streamed over 3 million times, has received sync deals with the Xbox 1/PS4 video game “The Crew 2” and Samsung. Both digital and terrestrial radio have been spinning WONDR’s music. WONDR has performed on festival stages and extensively across NC, TN, KY, and CHI. To kick-off 2020, WONDR headlined the Acura/BMW corporate-sponsored event, Fashion Breaths Life Fashion Show, helping to raise over $400,000 in one night for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. For the first time, he brought hip-hop to the event and his team provided all the musical entertainment. WONDR premiered his single “Jungle Juice,” on-air in an interview with K97.5. WONDR landed marquis billing for “Momentum” an official SXSW event hosted by the Roc Nation team. When the virus hit, WONDR hit back with 26 records that brought fans together and motivated them to push and believe in themselves. In the past year, WONDR has appeared in over 30 interviews with radio stations and blogs across the country.
WONDR’s talent is not limited to music. He is also an established model with placements today in every Walmart, Target, TJ Maxx, and various other department stores across the country. WONDR’s modeling and music careers met for the first time in the Perry Ellis Capsule 3 release with Urban Outfitters, a paid activation that became the most successful social collaboration for Perry.
