"helping the underdog overcome their limitations with
music that makes them feel seen, heard, and loved" - WONDR
Growing up in Cary, North Carolina, and after creating the very first music racing team, WONDR Racing, WONDR is now beginning his 6th full season in music racing in 2023
Here's his story so far...
Among releasing a music video, 9 new singles, and hundreds of content pieces, collecting over 1.5M streams and 20 million views, WONDR says 2023 was a learning year. WONDR started the year collaborating with tech/crypto giant, Ripple, in an NFT launch that would promote his return to the stage at Wake County Speedway. At the show in July, Hooters joined in on the action, collaborating with WONDR on social content and their first WONDR x Hooters tailgate. Later in the year, Dale Jr.’s ‘Cars Tour’ hosted WONDR as their entertainment before the race, and also gave him his first stab as Grand Marshal of a NASCAR race 🏁
Thanks to the WONDR Racing Team, aka the WONDR fans, 2022 was another record breaking year for WONDR releasing 2 music videos, 3 singles, bringing in over 150 million organic (NO MARKETING) views on social media content, 3 million songs streams, his first and second show at a NASCAR race, his first race car sponsor, a record deal with Preach Records (WONDR completed the deal to continue independent stride), and, what followed in perfect timing, a grant from the $250 million Ripple Creator Fund 🏁
Following his first song to hit 1 million streams on Spotify, 'White Aston', and the release of 5 music videos and 9 singles, WONDR teamed up with The Messi Store, owned by the G.O.A.T. of football, Leo Messi, to create one of their top grossing posts on instagram.
Besides working with the 2022 World Cup champion, Messi, WONDR also collaborated with Hooters Racing during the Brickyard 400, and had his first glimpse of virality with an 'F With U' Halloween video that garnered over 10 million views in less than a week. The video went on to produce over 100 million views into 2022.
On Jan 10th, after dropping his highly anticipated 'Jungle Juice' music video, WONDR followed up the film with a debut hometown radio appearance on K97.5. Shortly after, WONDR made a trip up to NYC to collaboration with Andy Hilfiger, Tommy Hilfiger's brother, and his clothing company, Artistix.
When COVID changed the world as we know it, WONDR took his lockdown as an opportunity to produce, write, record, and release 26 singles.
Although WONDR took 2019 as an artist development year instead of releasing music, he still managed to rack up over 500K stream, release his first music video for his hit single, 'All For You', and close his first brand deal with Perry Ellis America in collaboration with Urban Outfitters. The WONDR Racing Team wrote, produced, and shot one of Perry Ellis's biggest Instagram ads to date.
WONDR spent the rest of 2019 testing new music through various performances throughout the North Carolina triangle as well as delivered his first cypher with the Menace Material Team.
WONDR makes his debut on the race track with hit single 'White Aston' which amassed over a 300K streams in its first month of release. WONDR pioneered taking advantage of independent playlists during its release, before there was ever a company that offered independent playlist services.
Following 'White Aston', WONDR earned his first radio appearance via Dash Radio Los Angeles (READ STORY IN IMAGES TO LEFT) and booked his first festival, Summer Daze Festival, in his hometown of Cary, NC. 'White Aston', Summer Daze, and Dash Radio were only the beginning of what was to come next...
